Belts’ Soft Serve is opening for its 39th season on Friday, March 1 at 11 a.m.

Diehard fans have made an annual tradition of camping out on the property, located at 2140 Division St., the evening before its seasonal opening, often using ice shacks, tents and space heaters to make it through the cold overnight weather.

Belts’ is popular for selling cones, sundaes, and shakes during its March-October season.

The window will open at 11 a.m. The first 30 people in line will receive a free Belts’ t-shirt.

Regular hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
